As Accountant, you will play a key role in managing all the accounting for various companies, working closely with the Senior Accountant.
You will ensure perfect processing of incoming invoices, account statements, payment preparation, and contribute to the organization's financial compliance. You will provide support for tax returns and audits, and help produce financial reports correctly and on time. You will ensure the efficiency of financial processes thanks to your expertise in the various ERP systems and your anlytic skills.

- Handle the accounting for various A-Y companies in consultation with the Senior Accountant.
- Closely monitor and process incoming invoices.
- Record and process account statements on a daily basis + prepare weekly payments.
- Support the Senior Accountant in ensuring the accuracy of financial figures, in accordance with current regulations, for quarterly and half-yearly closings of all Group entities and for annual audits.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance team (open accounts, complete documents, have documents signed, collect documents…).
- Closely monitor overdue sales invoices + track incoming payments + if necessary, establish action plans & report to Senior Accountant/CFO.
- Prepare monthly VAT returns, both domestic and foreign.
- Draw up annual accounts, legal reports, etc. in collaboration with the Senior Accountant and Extern Accoutant.
- Communication: management of accounting mailbox.
Your profile
- You have a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least two years' experience as an accountant/auditor. Experience in a Big4 company is an asset.
- You have in-depth knowledge of BEGAAP, including specific rules for subsidiaries and joint ventures. You also have extensive general tax knowledge in the areas of corporate income tax and VAT.
- Experience in real estate is an asset but not required.
- Experience with various ERP systems and accounting packages (Winbooks, Silverfin, Microsoft Dynamics…). Experience in implementing ERP systems is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills
- Very good knowledge of current MS Office applications, particularly Excel (advanced level).
- Initial experience with Isabel is a plus.
- You are very precise, stress-resistant and practical.
- You enjoy working in a team, but can also work independently.
- You are fluent in Dutch and French and have a good knowledge of English.
- You are motivated, flexible and assertive.
- You have a positive / proactive mindset
- You have excellent social and communication skills.
